Burglary protection for your front door
Burglar protection for a front door requires both high-quality material and a reliable locking system. Both aspects are of utmost importance to ensure maximum security.
Special sheets made of high-quality metal with thick walls can withstand even massive amounts of force such as breaking and drilling. This is important for the RC-2 certification. The standard equipment also includes a three-bolt hook lock, which is equipped with swivel hooks at the top and bottom. In addition, two standard bolt locks in the upper and lower areas of the hinge side prevent the door leaf from being levered open.
Bolt lock
The bolt locks in the upper and lower areas of the hinge side prevent the door leaf from being levered open and thus offer effective protection against burglary.
Latch hook lock
The triple latch hook lock features two swivel hooks and a main latch to provide maximum security.
Round rosette & profile cylinder
The burglary protection is reinforced by a round rosette made of stainless steel on the outside. A reversible key profile cylinder with emergency and danger function and five keys provides additional security.
Front door with resistance class RC 2
Groke front doors, with and without side lights, correspond to resistance class RC 2 according to DIN EN 1627. They are equipped with 9.5 mm thick P4A laminated safety glazing on the outside and 6 mm thick VSG safety glass on the inside. The police recommend at least the burglary protection of an RC 2-certified door for house and apartment doors.
